Beautiful steekUP Windows Explorer Integration
July 20, 2007
The latest version of steekUP will let you select files for backup with a simple right-click directly in Windows Explorer. When you do that, the folders will be immediately branded with a steekUP icon, so you always know what is being saved. Like so:
I wish I had a screen-capture tool that could also do video, so you could see how the changes are applied on-the-fly. Maybe next time, for now I hope the screenshot will do the job. Try it out, it’s fun and it will grow into you. Note that the feature is available after you restart Windows, as recommended at the end of the installation.
Other changes in this release:
- Improved Thunderbird email handling.
- Localized in English, Français, Deutsch, Español and Italiano
- We no longer support for Outlook 2000.
- The usual minor fixes and improvements.
