Le Web 3 ‘07

Steek is a partner of this year’s Le Web 3 event, which will be held in Paris/Aubervilliers on December 11th and 12th. Loic le Meur makes France the center of the world for a couple of days, at least as far as internet initiatives go. Not anyone has the power to put the Hexagon on the spotlight, so thanks in advance to Mr. Le Meur for bumping us in, even if some of his surprise guests aren’t always welcomed by the participants. So Loic, now that you’re a Californian, feel free to surprize us your neighbors Pamela A. and Paris H.
I had the privilege of a VIP tour of the event location ahead of the crowd, accompanied by Christophe, the manitou (”manie tout”?) of the proceedings.
Read on for a glimpse at this visit…
The outside. “Les Docks” are next to Porte d’Aubervilliers, quite accessible with the metro or by car. However, once some 2000 people will be strolling around the place, it may get a bit crowded…
The Haussmann Dock is where the steek will be. It’s a strategic location, next to the cafeteria…The Pullman Dock is where the conference will take place. Quite large, with an huge scene (I believe that the number of seats is at least twice as big a last year’s)…The Eiffel Dock is where the startups will present their concepts. A good idea, to give greens their change to shine…We’ll be happy to show you the steek technology in the Eiffel Dock. We’re preparing a little surprise for this unique chance to get to know each other…
