Here is an interesting article about someone wondering why are his PowerPoint document so big and how to solve that!
You can read the answer but it is not easy to reduce the size of a Powerpoint document!
The real answer is to use a share folder (and SteekR of course!).
There are rules in our Internet world:

Office document size will still increase in the futur due to Microsoft technology!
Picture file size will still increase in the futur due to the camera pixel definition war!
Video file size will still increase in the futur due to the HD war!
